Owala Bottles Are Lead Free. Always Have Been. Always Will Be.

All Owala bottles and tumblers, including the award-winning Owala® FreeSip® bottle, are and always have been lead free.

Owala has used an innovative, lead-free solder in its products from the beginning.

That depends on which product you have.

Stainless Steel FreeSip®, Eastman Tritan™ Plastic, Kids' FreeSip®, Kids' Flip and Flip are not for use with hot, carbonated, or perishable liquids.

40oz Tumbler, 24oz Tumbler, and SmoothSip® hold cold, carbonated, and hot drinks.

NOTE: Always use caution with hot drinks and review the individual product care guides.

Lids are top-rack dishwasher safe, and straws can go in the silverware bin. Cups are technically dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is recommended to maintain the finish.

Microwaving is strongly discouraged because the leak-proof seal can allow pressure to build inside the bottle.

In general, shipments in the United States take about 3-5 business days from the date of fulfillment. For a more specific answer, use the tracking number provided with your receipt.

The patented FreeSip® spout combines a built-in straw with a wide-mouth opening, so you can sip upright or tilt back and swig.

Wash before use. Lid is top-rack dishwasher safe. Hand washing the cup is recommended to preserve its finish. Do not use harsh chemicals.

Do not microwave, freeze, or boil. Not for use with hot, carbonated, or perishable liquids unless the product care guide says otherwise.

When opening the bottle, keep fingers away from the recess behind the spout cover.

Yep. With the customizer, you can engrave a bottle or print a design in full color. Visit the customization page to see which bottles you can design.

Pick your bottle size, mix and match colors, and create a personalized design from the customization page or from available product pages.

Not yet, but Owala is working on a large-scale ordering option. For now, the customization tool supports smaller batches up to 15 bottles per order.

If you are etching bottles, multiple small orders may work. For color printing, multiple small orders can create slight color shifts, so it is not recommended.

Owala is preparing a Corporate Gifting Portal for larger orders. The portal will be the place for larger custom quantities once it launches.

Daily washing is a good idea.

Lids are top-rack dishwasher safe and designed for easy cleaning. Remove the spout gasket using the pull tab and clean it separately.

Straws can go in the dishwasher's silverware bin. Eastman Tritan™ plastic cups can go on the top rack; stainless steel cups should be hand-washed with warm, soapy water.

Stainless Steel: Technically freezer safe, but Owala recommends adding ice instead because insulation limits the freezer's effect.

Eastman Tritan™ plastic: Freezing is not recommended because plastic can become brittle and more susceptible to cracking.

If you placed your order within the last 10 minutes, it may still be possible to make changes by contacting support during business hours. If the order is further along, submit a return request or check order status from your account.

Owala stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of its bottles. If you encounter a manufacturing-related issue, submit a warranty claim for review.

Accidental damage, improper care or misuse, and normal wear and tear are not covered.

Unused Owala bottles in original packaging can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. Refunds are processed after the return is received.

Unless the issue is due to an Owala error, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
